CAN SOMEONE FEEL DEPRESSED AND STILL SMILING??

Yes, there are people who can hide their pain very calmly but what storm they are facing inside is inexplicable.

They work productively but are they happy inside?

They meet many people but do they feel like hanging out?

They listen to everyone but are they really paying attention?

"SMILING DEPRESSION"- there are people who so not want to burden their near and dear ones, they are afraid of embarrassment, they have been always told to be strong, also, they do not accept the reality of suffering from depression.  They may feel guilt as everything is fine around them, there is no reason to be depressed but they are just masking the depression by smile and everything goes unnoticed. The acceptance is the bitter truth. Many of us might have suffered from "smiling depression" but how many us have accepted the reality and worked on it?

One should explore oneself and acknowledge the hidden burden, to be strong is not to hide your weaknesses but rather working on it.

is it OK??

Sometimes its OK to cry,

Sometimes, its OK to be sad,

Sometimes, its OK to be unproductive,

Sometimes, its OK to be lazy,

Sometimes, its OK to take a day off,

Sometimes, its OK to think differently,

Sometimes, its OK to prioritize yourself over others.

Sometimes, its OK

MENTAL HEALTH???????

nowadays, everyone is talking about "mental health" but how many are actually working on it?

do we consider going to a therapist ?? do we encourage our family members to seek help? do we really understand what pain someone in going  through ?? do we really talk to people around? are we ready to face our insecurities/ weaknesses ? are we teaching our children to be open about stress, sadness, fears?? do we ever try to find what is the reason  of sadness??

as a clinical psychologist, i have got many names paglo ki doctor, mind reader and many more. Also, i have seen people talking things like- baate hi to karte ho, hum bhi counselling karte hai. But, the reality is completely different.

awareness is baseless if you cannot actually take right action on time. Therefore,  just being aware about mental health is incomplete if you are still not being able to seek help and suffering.
